On August 31, 2008 Nike will host the Human Race in numerous cities around the world. In Los Angeles, California, at the Coliseum, Nike will partner with Hahn Estates Winery in support of the event, sustainable agriculture, and healthy life choices that impact individuals as well as the earth.

PROMOTES A WIDE RANGE OF NATURAL PEST CONTROLS, SUCH AS BENEFICIAL INSECTS Hahn encourages beetles, lady bugs & lace wings to assist in the control of mealy bugs, leaf hoppers & aphids.

USES LESS TOXIC PESTICIDES WHEN NATURAL METHODS DON'T WORK Hahn uses Stylet Oil instead of sulfur when possible which controls mildew & suppresses mites. IMPROVES SOIL BY NATURAL METHODS, SUCH AS COVER CROPS Hahn uses cover crops including legumes which mulches into nitrogen fixing for the soil.
